Dershowitz is a fucking clown; except he’s not funny. He totally just shot his rhetorical load. If Goldstone is like Judas and an “evil, evil man” what does Dershowitz have left in his hyperbolic vocabulary to describe his enemies in future? Oh right: evil, evil, evil, evil man. Its kind of the equivalent of the Israelis naming their 1996 war on southern Lebanon “Operation Grapes of wrath.” Its hard to come up with anything more sinister, at least I thought so at the time. But then “Cast Lead” was pretty diabolical.

Yeah. That is why I feel his remarks are cartoonish. They rely purely on characterization of Israel as moral beacon, and its critics as venemous, hateful, evil people. Every accusation about Israel is met not only with a blanket denial, but a comical assertion of the exact opposite. No, Israel did not indiscriminately bomb civilians, it took precautions that NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD would take! Praise!!
